Bennet returns and finds everything changed and a major party about to happen and his dragon says ‘you better just thank him and shut up,’ and Bennet does just that. I love it!

So, while a couple chapters back Darcy tells Bennet that Jane has no dragon only wild magic, here you say that Soj…. (Can’t recall the spelling and will lose this if I look back) likes Richard’s dragon and they would be a good match. Has a dragon chosen Jane and merely waits to inhabit her?
Nope. Sjöfn has indicated she might be interested in becoming Thanatos' mate, but even she is reluctant to take on the god of death. Likely, she fears that her love might not be strong enough to prevail against his nature to destroy and that Jane may not have deep enough feelings for Richard yet.
Well, the dragons are sexually intense when it comes to their mates. Frankly, Jane may not have enough emotional depth for S to enjoy taking J as a host. Dragons are very far from frigid and choose hosts that align with their personalities.
Oh my, I have to reread back a couple chapters. I sort of remember something at the Bingleys, but not quite what happened. Whatever it was it’s great to see Caroline get her due. And the Bennets having a party the same night as their ball? Cruel punishment, but deserved. Great chapter!
